oh, dude, so rough, i never take home guys from the club, its like an unwritten rule, usually thats where the bad ones are. but i would say the best approach is a semi direct one. hang around at the bar, and when she orders a drink, offer to pay for it. if she has manners she should come over and thank u for it.
The simple “May I buy you a drink?” or “Are you with somebody? If not, may I come and talk to you?”
The simpler approaches always worked on me when I was dating. I did not like the more elaborate lines.
Recent experience of a personal nature, the guy zones in on the girl/woman who catches his eye. It could be her looks, her image that she presents (one of being uncommitted and unavailable.. that is what gets the men most often, the picture of total control and aloofness). She could be having a nice smile, or she could be showing signs that she needs a bit of attention because she is looking around, however, if she is looking around while she is looking at her watch, she already has a date who is late. Nothing wrong in saying “can I buy you a drink”, after a “hi, my name is…” I was playing pool with my niece and her friends, and the guy came up and said “may I join you”, he then offered to pay for a game, so that we could continue chatting over the game, and he gave me some helpful advise on the game as well, I am not the best pool player. After two games, he told me he would call me and asked for my phone number and he followed up with a visit to my home and we are now good buddies, but yesterday, he asked me for a loan so I may have also presented a picture of being rich, which certainly did not come through my appearance because I am very comfortable in clothing and not particularly well dressed,so it had to come through my calling card:).which is gold sealed, but see no future in this though, and trust you have better luck with yours:).
