After watching many college games, and several top teams falling, I can’t help thinking the obvious. A premire kicker missing TWO chip shot field goals, I mean, you know ! Referring to West Virginia’s kicker, of course. I am not accusing at all. I am just curious. Maybe someone else has the same curiousity as I….

Either he had a bad day or he was bribed lol
The fact that WVU was in a situation where they needed a field goal to hang with lowly Pittsburgh is what I find curious.

I see your point….
You know I kind got suspiscious when I saw the one armed man ligering in the shadows of the WVU – Pitt game. And they guys in the grassy knoll at the MIzzou game, you think that was just a coincidence. Lloyd Carr is just a patsy I tell you. Its the Cuban’s, the Mobb, The CIA….they are all involved man. I been saying this for years….
Its an Enigma wrapped around a riddle man…..
Whew….sorry…conspiracy therories really get me jacked up
Yooz better shut yer trap and just ferget about this!
Me and Joey knowz where you live, just kep playin the football card and stop axin us stoopid questions, therz no mafia, capish?
If organized crime can infiltrate any sport to make bucks then they will do it. I think it is parity among colleges that has resulted in the roller coaster season we have just witnessed. Some very good athletes are shunning the traditional powerhouse schools in order to get a chance to start at smaller schools. Look at the pros when the players announce what school they attended I am amazed at the number of small schools.
Also, with the field goals that is just the way the cookie crumbled. I think it was two years ago when Auburn played LSU at Tiger Stadium the Auburn kicker Vaughn missed three or four very make-able field goals which would have given the game to Auburn. I cannot imagine that player was trying to throw the game.
I mean organized crime is going to target the field goal kicker in the WVU vs. Pitt game in hopes of winning a bet. You’ve got to be kidding. Given their play to date before the game, WVU should have won it by 3 touchdowns at least.
most definitely…and i can give you the name of those filthy crime bastards….the BCS…..
Infiltrating the Refs/Officials at best. Infiltrating the coaches….maybe. Infiltrating the kids…highly doubtful. There’s just not enough money it. And the way the kids are taken care of now compared to back in the 60s-70s (no real time to themselves), I just don’t see it happening. That pretty much goes for the coaches too because all college football coaches are making real good money. Now the refs are a whole different matter, BUT there’s more money to be made in the NFL doing that than there is in College ball…sorry.
As far as the WVU game: Pat McAfee was having a bad day as was the entire Offense. I think they came in a little too confident and Coach Rodriguez (Admitedly not having slept the day before) made some bad offensive calls that game. It happens and the way this year was…I just don’t see it being fixed.
I think NCAA itself is like an organized crime. Their operation is a bit shady and we don’t know what are going on behind close doors.. They make lots of millions but we will never know how they spend all that money..
